Wayne Rooney Worried Forced to flee

Rooney actually prefer opted to stay at Old Trafford.

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is reportedly worried he would be forced to leave Old Trafford this season after not received assurances about his future.

After manager Sir Alex Ferguson said it will officially retire at the end of this season, the future of Rooney crowded discussed. England striker was tipped to leave the club at the end of this season, although the Red Devils camp has said the star will not be sold.

Reported by The Mirror, Rooney had questioned whether now is the right time for him to go. He also had a meeting with Sir Alex. The results are distributed to the public nature of the meeting, and the conditions that make the striker feels that he was forced to leave at the end of the season.

Rooney reportedly not happy with his role in the team because he played a number of positions to accommodate two signings last summer, Shinji Kagawa and Robin van Persie.
